"After working all your life, Moto3 is always in your sights... but rolling out of the pitlane for the first time, I was looking around, and I had all these guys that I've been watching for years on TV either side of me. It's just an unreal feeling."
Casey O'Gorman is an 18-year-old Irish motorcycle racer from Portlaoise, currently competing in the Moto3 World Championship with Sic58 Squadra Corse — one of the most respected teams on the grid.
Casey's journey to the world stage started young. He first appeared in the European Talent Cup at just 12 years old, and by 2021 he had won the Honda British Talent Cup outright. That result earned him a place in the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, where he took multiple podiums across two seasons.
After stepping up through the FIM JuniorGP World Championship — where he claimed podiums, beat strong competition and proved himself race after race — Casey made his Moto3 Grand Prix debut in August 2025 at the Red Bull Ring in Austria, on his 18th birthday. He scored his first World Championship points in only his second race, and by the end of the season he had turned heads enough to secure a two-year contract with Sic58 for 2026 and 2027.
He's now a full-time Moto3 World Championship rider, wearing number 67, chasing results at the highest level of the sport.
